Phase 1 covers Oakville, Burlington, Milton and Mississauga. Pickup and return are the approved launch handoff model unless a confirmed listing expressly states otherwise.
When is a Renter charged?
Nothing is charged while a request is pending. After Supplier acceptance, checkout shows the Rental Fee, CAD $8 Platform Service Fee, optional Damage Waiver if selected and applicable HST. The Deposit tier is not charged or held at booking.
How do pickup and return work?
The Renter and Supplier complete separate condition records at pickup and return, each with at least three current photos. Both parties should count every component and keep their confirmations until the claim window has passed.
Are Suppliers and listings reviewed?
Supplier status, category eligibility and listing content are reviewed before activation. Marketplace review is not an inspection certificate, so Renters should still review the full listing and condition evidence.
Can I request equipment within 24 hours?
Yes. Use the short-notice request path. A Booking is not confirmed until the Supplier accepts and checkout is completed, so short-notice availability cannot be guaranteed.
