You keep 85% of every booking

AidersPlus charges a 15% platform commission on the rental subtotal. There are no listing fees, no monthly subscriptions, and no featured-placement upsells. Stripe processing fees are deducted directly from your payout — they don't flow through us.

From application to first payout

Here's what to expect at each stage of listing and renting out equipment on AidersPlus.

Apply
Submit your supplier application at aidersplus.ca/list-your-equipment. Describe what gear you own, where you're based, and how often it's available. Applications are reviewed manually — no auto-approve.

Review
Our team reviews your listing quality, equipment details, pickup terms, and identity. We'll contact you within 2–3 business days with next steps, photo guidelines, and your Stripe Connect onboarding link.

Publish
Your listing goes live with your pricing, availability calendar, photos, and pickup instructions. Renters can discover you by category, location, and date.

Approve bookings
Review and confirm booking requests within 48 hours. You control which requests you accept and set your own cancellation policy — Flexible, Moderate, or Strict.

Pickup checklist
Both parties complete a timestamped photo checklist at handoff. This record is what protects you if any damage is disputed during or after the rental.

Get paid
Complete the return checklist and confirm condition. Your payout is sent to your connected Stripe account — typically 2 to 7 business days after booking completion.
Listing requirements

What every listing must include

Clear, complete listings earn more bookings. These are the fields every AidersPlus listing requires.

Photos of the actual equipment
Multiple clear photos showing all included items, cables, cases, and accessories. Stock photos are not accepted. Renters want to see exactly what they're booking.
Complete accessory list
Every item included in the bundle — cables, stands, cases, power adapters, props, remote controls. Partial lists lead to disputes at return.
Replacement value declaration
The current cost to replace the equipment new. This determines the deposit tier ($150, $300, or $500) that protects your gear on every booking.
Condition notes
Honest description of wear, known quirks, cosmetic issues, or anything a renter should know before booking. Transparency builds ratings and prevents disputes.

Every rental is deposit-protected

AidersPlus stores a card on file for every renter at booking. Here's how the deposit system works for you as a supplier.

Card stored at booking — before they pick up
Every renter saves a card on file when they request a booking. No card means no booking. This ensures a charge mechanism exists before equipment leaves your hands.
Deposit tiers are set by category
Audio, photo booths, and premium decor carry higher deposit tiers ($300–$500). Lighting and projector kits are in the mid-range. Seating and table sets start at $150. The tier is set by AidersPlus — you don't have to negotiate it per booking.
Damage reported on the return checklist
If you notice damage at return, note it and photograph it on the return checklist within 24 hours. AidersPlus reviews the evidence from both the pickup and return checklists before authorising any charge.
AidersPlus determines the charge — not you
We act as a neutral party reviewing both sides' evidence. If damage is confirmed, we charge the renter's card up to the deposit cap and transfer the appropriate amount to you.
